Deploy
premium services quickly, independent of existing network
infrastructure.
Transparent--no
point code--signaling interface provides access to any SS7/C7 message. Intercept,
Block, Modify, Pass, and Insert any SS7/C7 message with your application
platform. The
Sevis TMR provides application developers with enabling technology for
building and deploying premium services quickly and easily.
It enables operators to add new services without significant
additional investment.
With TMR’s transparent—no
point code—access to
the signaling network and its rich APIs, applications can be deployed
without any network re-engineering, independent of existing network
infrastructure.
Using innovative technology, TMR provides selective access to
the SS7/C7 message stream routing only messages of interest to the
application.
As a standards-based, carrier-grade SS7/C7 network node without a
point code and a rich set of APIs, the TMR is the perfect development
environment for building and deploying fixed and mobile applications.
Rapid Application Development and Deployment The
TMR provides host application platforms with easy-to-integrate SS7/C7
connectivity.
TMR uses a multilayer routing engine to intelligently route
signaling messages to application platforms.
By utilizing lower level and application level information in a
message, TMR selectively routes only messages required by the
application.
These messages are routed via TMR’s open APIs over IP to the
application for further analysis and processing.
The APIs provide access at two levels of the SS7/C7 stack.
An MTP interface provides access to MTP3 and above while the TCAP
interface provides access to the MAP portion of a message. This
architecture allows developers to focus on their applications saving
time and getting to revenue quicker.
Transparent Signaling Interface TMR
provides simplified signaling network access while operating as a
standards-based SS7/C7 network node. TMR overcomes traditional barriers
to SS7/C7 network deployment with its transparency—it does not require
a point code.
Applications can be deployed quickly because TMR does not require
re-provisioning of other network nodes. It can be deployed on existing
SS7/C7 links providing a direct, transparent signaling interface to all
signaling traffic.
This enables carriers to turn up new, premium services quickly
and cost-effectively.
Comprehensive Development Environment The TMR APIs are designed for rapid, cost-effective application development and are fully documented. TMR includes a software developer’s kit (SDK) that provides all the tools necessary for application development and deployment via TMR. Traffic insertion tools, test tools, example messages, and a reference application provide everything needed to start immediately. TMR supports an SDK configuration for setting up a complete test environment to simulate SS7/C7 traffic routed via the APIs over IP between TMR and an application platform.
Platform TMR
is based on Sevis’s Signaling ASE® Platform, a standards-based,
carrier-grade SS7/C7 network node.
It does
not require a point code which eliminates network re-engineering and
allows for rapid system deployment across 2G or 3G networks as well as
fixed networks. Scalability is achieved by clustering additional
platforms together, made easy by the platform’s transparency. The
platform’s fault-handling architecture does not impact SS7/C7 link
integrity and always allows messages to flow regardless of platform
status.
Centralized Management The
TMR Controller provides centralized provisioning and management of the
Sevis TMR. It is an
advanced management system with a distributed client/server architecture
that allows a single graphical user interface to manage all TMR
platforms in the network. It
supports an SNMP interface that forwards faults and alarms to other
management systems.
