Sevis Systems

Carrier-grade application development platform

No SS7 point code required so no network reengineering

Modify, reroute, throttle, create, offload over IP, stop and deliver SS7/SMS messages anywhere within an operator's network

The ASE Platform

The foundation of the Signaling ASE System is the ASE Platform that does not require an SS7 point code, thus eliminating the need to reengineer an operator's SS7 network upon installation.  The ASE Platform is carrier-grade and NEBS certified, with high availability achieved via automatic link protection and redundant, hot-swappable components.

The ASE Platform can be deployed as a passive (high-impedance) or "active" probe.  In active mode, it resides transparently (no point code) on one or more SS7 links where, using its unique capabilities, it can modify, reroute, throttle, offload, create or deliver SS7/SMS messages.

With the Signaling ASE System's rich API's and SS7 transparency, application developers can quickly build and deploy new SS7/SMS services.  To interface with 3rd party applications, the Signaling ASE System uses a multilayer routing engine to intelligently route SS7/SMS messages to the application over IP via the system's open APIs.  Depending on the application's needs, response messages can then be handed off to the Signaling ASE System for subscriber delivery.  This "direct delivery" capability is especially beneficial for SMS offerings as it enables SMS messages to be delivered without the use of an SMSC.  Optionally, the Signaling ASE System can provide traditional SS7 point code access for initiating queries or delivering SMS messages in bulk.
